We have several flashlights around the house. Some of my flashlights use different size batteries and it seems that when I need one the most, the batteries are weak or dead, or the bulb was shot. I have intended to buy a really good flashlight for a long time and with Halloween coming up and all the little Trick or Treaters coming by tomorrow night, I finally went and bought one today.
My wife was laughing at me for being so excited with my new toy as I was testing it out tonight. But guys, this flashlight is truly amazing and I just had to share this with you. Now, I don’t know anything about flashlights really, but I know I got a good one.
My light is a Stinger DS and is widely used by Police Officers. This thing has a long-life rechargeble battery, long-life bulb and it lights up the tree line 150 feet from the back of my house like I couldn’t believe.
Again, the only flashlight I’ve ever owned is what you might call a disposable one and I might be too easily impressed, but I am impressed with this Stinger flashlight. It was a little pricey at $150 (and I’m sure I could have gotten one at a lesser price on the internet) but I needed it tomorrow night and I was glad to give my business to a local store.
I will post a picture and a link later.

Running a hobby website can become overwhelming at times. Just answering and responding to emails has become pretty time consuming. When I launched the “News” section of guncollectorsclub.com I programed the site to pull in headlines about guns and gun collecting in hopes that this would be a time saver.
What I learned very quickly, was that many of the news stories were not appropriate. For example, I got a lot of news about a race car driver named Glock!
I’ve decided to try something different. I’m going to promote our users from “subscribers” to “contributors” and allow you to contribute to the News section of the site. Anyone who contributes a worthy post will be promoted to “author”.
Thanks in advance for your input!
